The design of this plate tells a positive story of water use, and is a storytelling tool to educate children on the principles of the water cycle: flow, evaporation and precipitation.
Clean water is a necessity for all life on earth. The story on the plate is a reminder to those of us in the developed world that water comes from, and returns to, nature; and that man, plants and animals around the world all depend upon clean water.
Text around the edge of the plate reads “Water. For Life.”
